Lou:
Hailing from the west country, I've always had a passion for exotic places. Having travelled on four continents, you could say I'm finding the 20-minute commute to work in Cambridge a little too sedate!
I kept a 1992 Fiat Tipo on the road for three years, so I can't imagine that maintaining a rickshaw on the go for 2,500 miles will be too difficult... Of course, the stereo system in the rickshaw mightn't be quite the same, but Tristan reassures me that his singing will more than make up for it!
Tristan:
Having grown up in Ireland it comes as no surprise that I am partial to the odd pint of Guinness! Well, it is a meal in a glass and I need to build up my strength... I just hope there's plenty on tap in India! Growing up driving tractors and motorbikes I should have all the skills needed to drive a rickshaw. Sure, how hard can it be?!
A few years ago, I did a marathon drive across America - 6000 miles in 4 weeks. Has it set me up as the perfect long-distance driver? Well I hope so! And living in a tropical rainforest for many months let me develop my unique singing voice. I just hope Lou appreciates it on our epic journey in a very small rickshaw...
